You may not know their names from the pages of fashion magazines, yet in their fields they set the pace. They lead successful companies, conduct orchestras, or represent their country – true professionals in every sense. And they all share one trait: an appreciation for fine craftsmanship and the understanding that good style is no pose. It is a form of respect – for oneself, and for the world around.
We are pleased to introduce several of our clients whose personal style is as distinctive as their professional impact. For us, they are proof that true fashion icons are not found on catwalks, but in everyday life.
Pavel Telička
Entrepreneur, former diplomat, EU Commissioner and Member of the European Parliament, who led negotiations on our country’s entry into the European Union and for many years represented the Czech Republic in Brussels.
Together with Mr. Telička, we created a formal outfit from Scabal fabrics – including a waistcoat that lends the ensemble a timeless dimension. He wears his GALARD suit at prestigious meetings and in televised debates – for instance, on Questions with Václav Moravec.
This suit does not draw attention through cheap gestures, but through consistency, taste, and precision in every detail. It reflects the same approach to politics that helped lead the Czech Republic into the European community.
Libor Vavrečka
Chairman of the Czech Chamber of Surveyors, head of railway surveyors at the Railway Administration, and an athlete in body and spirit.
For his outfit, we chose a fabric that keeps pace with every tempo. Wool from Ermenegildo Zegna’s SS25 collection with natural stretch is not only elegant but also exceptionally comfortable – a quality appreciated by men who, like Mr. Vavrečka, are used to being on the move.
As he himself says, endurance running has taught him willpower, resilience, and determination – qualities also mirrored in his wardrobe.
His dark grey-blue suit is complemented with a bespoke shirt, tie, pocket square, and Loake leather loafers. An ensemble that feels solid yet never stiff – just like the man wearing it.
Jan Holinka
Owner of one of Prague’s finest hotels, Nerudova 211, and an entrepreneur in hospitality who knows the importance of a first impression.
Jan Holinka relies on a blend of distinction and comfort – in his profession he is constantly on his feet, engaging with guests and managing the hotel. His wardrobe now includes both a formal grey chalk-stripe suit with a waistcoat and a green suit from our seasonal collection in subtle herringbone. The choice of trendy colour and pattern underscores his youth and energy.
His tall figure is often accentuated with trousers featuring side adjusters – a leading trend in menswear – as well as turn-ups that perfectly highlight his physique
John Salte
Entrepreneur, CFO of Salted and co-founder of the agency Elite Bloggers, and partner of influencer Tereza Salte. A former Norwegian athlete, he now trains members of the Czech national team in group gymnastics.
For John, we created both a refined black-tie set and an informal suit for daily wear.
The first he wore, for example, at the medal ceremony in the Senate where his partner in life and business, Tereza, was honoured. The second is ideal for office wear, business meetings, or social events – all essential parts of John’s professional life.
Patrik Jan Červák
Conductor, musicologist, pianist, and professor at Masaryk University. A lover and connoisseur not only of music but also of style.
Patrik has been a client of our salon for many years, with our garments accompanying him on his career path through orchestra pits and stages of the country’s foremost theatres and concert halls. As a conductor, he requires maximum freedom of movement – whether in a tailcoat or in the separate jackets he enjoys wearing, showing that a conductor’s attire need not be rigid or dull. Quite the contrary.
Francois Ruzek
Investment director and a man who knows that true style is never rushed, but shaped with respect for tradition.
For his pre-wedding photoshoot in France, Francois chose an outfit that could have been taken from a fashion campaign. He wore an unlined jacket from Italian Carnet fabric – a refined blend of wool, linen, and silk – with a three-roll-two fastening, where the lapel gently rolls to the middle button. He paired it with wool trousers and brown loafers.
The photographs speak for themselves – a reminder that your attire is a mirror of your personality.
Each of these men has a different story. Yet they all share the ability to see clothing as more than mere necessity. In our salons, we are honoured to be part of their journey and their style.
And what about your story? We would be delighted to write it with you – stitch by stitch, with millimetre precision. Book your appointment.
